Wife Of Late Tai Solarin, Sheila Solarin Buried Amidst Heavy Downpour

The remains of wife of late Education icon, Dr. Tai Solarin,Mrs. Sheila Solarin were interred on Friday beside her late husband in their Ikenne home amidst heavy down pour.

The funeral service of the Briton who died October 21, 2012 at Babcock University Teaching Hospital, Ilishan-Remo at the age of 88, commenced at exactly 11:am and was almost disrupted by the heavy rain that few minutes after the programme started.

 

The service which was anchored by Methodist Church, Nigeria had many prominent personalties in attendance ; the State governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun,his predecessor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel,wife of ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, first son of late legal luminary Chief Gani Fawehinmi, Muhammed, ex-local government chairman of Ikenne, Tiwalade Sobo among others.
