Super Eagles Largest Jersey Enters Guinness Book Of World Records

Nigeria has once again recorded another victory for holding the record for the largest jersey in the world.

The largest football jersey exploit, was part of Guinness’ Fly with the Eagles campaign in support of reigning champions of African football.

The jersey was unveiled at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Surulere Lagos and the Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt.

It measures an amazing record size of 241ft 3in in width and 294ft 2in in length to set a new world record as the largest football jersey in history , beating the last record held at a size of 234ft 1 in by 259ft 8in. created and displayed in Sukru, San Istanbul Turkey in 2009.

For some time now, there has being speculation that pretty actress Monalisa Chinda and business man Lanre Nzeribe are an item, and the picture(left) above showing the two cuddled together further fueled the rumors, leaving many questions unanswered on their suspected romance.

Yesterday however, Lanre and Monalisa damned all consequences and decided to make their romance public, as they attended Uche Jumbo's movie premiere together. Yeah, two people, male and female can attend social functions together on platonic basis, but I can confirm to you that these two love birds attended the premiere as couple not afraid to flaunt their love in the faces of onlookers. Let me break it down.

Monalisa and Lanre arrived the premiere late deliberately and tried as much as possible to avoid taking pictures together, entering the movie hall almost immediately they arrived. They took their seats side by side in the hall, (right behind me) and from their gestures, the chemistry between the two could not mistaken.

After the movie, they hurriedly left the hall but once outside, elected not to walk together. While Monalisa was talking with a friend, I walked up to her and politely asked for a picture since she did not appear on the red carpet. She was still contemplating,when her friend rudely told me: 'No, she's not taking pictures.' As I recovered from her mouthpiece's friend's unwarranted boorish response, I realized her lover Lanre was standing less than 20meters away and could somehow be caught on camera with her, explaining her friend's answer.

Few minutes later, the two were seen chatting and laughing heartily away from the press area. I was walking by with a friend who decided to stop to say hi. As Monalisa exchanged pleasantries, she watched me with suspicion and scrutiny trying to make sure I didn't get a picture of them together. I found that very funny and ironic, considering that she was daring enough to step out with Lanre Nzeribe, a renown serial philanderer, in the first place.

When I was first alerted about Lanre and Monalisa together at the event, I wondered what the big deal was, considering that Monalisa is a single woman, getting her life back on track after a failed, abusive marriage. But after asking questions, sources in the know reveal that Lanre Nzeribe is a married man with children who takes pleasure in serial philandering.

You see, Lanre seems to have a thing for actresses and has in the past been linked to Liz Benson(before she married her bishop husband) and few other female thespians. He is also reported to have dated Grace Egbagbe-former director of sales and marketing at NTA-, and Folake Odutola, owner of now defunct Saga8 club in VI.

His relationship with Folake reportedly ended on a bitter note with the latter locking him up after a messy fight.

 Credible sources reveal however that rumors about marrying Stella Damasus are untrue, and the stories only emerged after Stella got involved with one Emeka Nzeribe. All these I assure you, are just some of Lanre's many philandering exploits in the past brought to my knowledge.

Tracing Lanre and Monalisa's relationship, unconfirmed reports have it that the two became friends while Monalisa was still married to ex woman-batterer husband Segun Dejo Richards, a philanderer as well.

 The reports have it that this amongst other reasons, was why Dejo resorted to battering Monalisa and made her life a living hell. Though this report remains unconfirmed, today, Lanre and Monalisa are definitely more than just platonic friends.

Even though the two have refused to confirm their public-secret relationship, sources close to the situation indicate that Lanre and Monalisa are very serious and are even considering tying the knot. How this will play out remains a mystery, because Lanre Nzeribe as at press time remains married, albeit, very view people know his wife.

Back to the present; the two left the venue of the premiere together in his Mercedes Benz E-Class with another couple-unidentified, perhaps on a double date, to an unknown location.
One would have expected that Monalisa after her experience with her ex husband would opt for a drama free relationship, but instead chose a man renown for his adulterous ways, Lanre Nzeribe.

In the end, its her life, and her decision to make. On my part, I have brought you the scoop.

So yesterday night, at the Ozone cinemas Yaba, actress/Movie producer Uche Jumbo premiered her movie 'My life my damage,' starring actress Tonto Dike.

The event was attended by friends, colleagues and fans who came to support her on her big night. Yours truly was there, to report the scoop and how it all went down. Read it all when you continue.

Arrivals...
All the celebrities as expected arrived late. But first to arrive was Rukky Sanda, who looked very beautiful with her short pixie hair cut and black dress. Other attendees who looked very nice were:Monalisa Chinda, Stephanie Linus, Rita Dominic and Silver bird's Yvonne 'Vixen' Ikwere. Tonto Dike and last but not the least, Uche Jumbo, dressed the part too.

Uche And Kenny Rodriguez...To rumor mongers peddling stories about Uche and Kenny's marriage going through turbulent times, I put it to you that Uche and Kenny have a very happy marriage, or at least, so it appeared yesterday. Uche looked very radiant in her black mermaid dress, with her greatest accessory Kenny, looking very dapper as well. As they posed for pictures on the red carpet, Kenny was every inch the loving husband, helping Uche adjust the train of her beautiful dress, and dabbing beads of sweat from her face on intervals. He also chose not to do too much talking, emphasizing through words and actions that it was Uche's night. The chemistry between this two would almost make you wish to be married...lool! They look very happy together.


Tonto Dike's All White Errthing...
Controversial actress Tonto Dike played the lead role in the movie which she also co-produced. She missed the red carpet proper and came into the hall when the movie was about to start. she looked simple but pretty in all white and blonde hair. And oh, Tonto has added a white a range to her fleet of cars, which she brought to the premiere yesterday. The range has the customized plate #poko.

My Life My Damage...
The movie is based on the life of a girl Dora(Tonto Dike) who went to America with big dreams, in search of greener pastures. She derailed when she started dating an addict who introduced her to drugs and gave her H.I.V. The movie shot majorly in the US features a no of new faces and non Nigerians, but also stars Bukky Wright and Bobby Obodo. Uche Jumbo chose to stay behind the scenes as executive producer.
On a scale of 1-10, I give the movie a 5. A very magnanimous score I must add.

Fire Outbreak At MNET Studios In Ojota

 

A fire outbreak was recorded this evening at Phillips warehouse in Ojota, home to MNET and Super Sport studios.

It was gathered that the fire started in MNET studios and continued to spread before the fire brigade arrived the scene and tried to douse the fire.

Man Commits Suicide Over Inability To Sexually Satisfy His Wife

A despondent palm wine tapper, identified as Nwandu (Surname withheld) operating in Ugbolu community near Asaba, yesterday, allegedly committed suicide following his inability to make love to his wife in the last few weeks.

Reports said that the palm wine tapper, a native of Ogbaru in Anambra state, has been married to his wife for over seven years before his sex organ began to disappoint him.

Sources said that the man has been having problem with his genitals since the beginning of the month of February this year.

The resultant failure on his part to satisfy his wife sexually, gave rise to repeated quarrels especially as blamed malaria for his dereliction of duty.

LEADERSHIP reliably gathered that the situation persisted until last Thursday night when he allegedly made another failed attempt.

Police authorities in the state confirmed that the body of the palm wine tapper has been deposited at the Federal Medical Centre Mortuary for autopsy and added that investigation was ongoing.

LEADERSHIP checks revealed that the palm wine tapper in the early hours of that fateful day had complained of stomach discomfort to his wife who unsuspectingly gave him tissue paper for toilet.

But the near hopeless dashed into the bush path where he allegedly hung himself on a tree.

At the time of death he had three children.
