A
source has authoritatively
informed me that emerging Nigerian rapper well known as Olamide, is about to
sign a mouth-watering deal with telecoms giants, Etisalat.
The source said talks about the deal “is almost signed,
sealed and delivered.” The source, who claimed to be
well informed about the deal, confidently divulged that the agreement will be
made public very soon.
“Olamide will be officially unveiled very soon in a
three-year deal that will see him do adverts for the network
(Etisalat), the source
quipped. “The deal is worth N20
million,” sourced added.
When asked why such a huge amount is tabled before
Olamide, the source explained that, “the use of his
‘Go Down Low’ for one of Etisalat’s campaigns raised the amount to that
level.”
Several calls put through to Olamide’s manager to
confirm this story were not answered.
