Forbes List: 2013 Top 10 Most Powerful Celebrities

Oprah Winfrey was top of the list in 2010, but lost out to Jennifer Lopez last year and Lady Gaga in 2011

Forbes has released this years most powerful celebrities, and TV Queen Oprah Winfrey tops the list. The 59 year old billionaire who was runner up in 2011 and 2012, knocked Jenifer Lopez off the top spot this year.

Forbes credits Oprah's $77 million (£50m) earnings between June 2012 and June 2013 - as well as her prominence on TV, on social media and in the press - for her placing.
Also this year, six of the top 10 powerful celebrities are women
