She’s expecting her new arrival early next year and it seems that Shakira is very much enjoying the latter stages of her pregnancy.
The 35-year-old singer posted a snap of herself showing off her baby bump while lying on top of her boyfriend Gerard Piqué.
The parents-to-be were seen beaming into the camera with wide smiles, clearly extremely excited about the arrival of their first child next year.
Along with the adorable snap, the Colombian singer wrote: ‘Podría estar 9 meses más así! I could have another 9 months like this! Shak.’
Shakira appears to being enjoying a pregnancy glow and she seemed fresh-faced and relaxed in the cute snap.
While the singer is clearly enjoying the build up to her little one’s arrival she is also keeping busy with work.
The Hips Don’t Lie singer has already been performing during her pregnancy as well as filming for the next series of the US show The Voice, where she is taking on the role of a judge.
The talent show starts in March and she will be releasing a new album around that time.
Shakira will be doing all this while juggling being a mother for the first time with her baby, who is due early in 2013.
The singing superstar announced her baby news in September, writing a message on her website.
She wrote: ‘As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby!’
Shakira revealed she was dating the Spanish footballer, who is ten years her junior, by posting a picture of the couple to her Twitter page in March 2011.
