Photo: Uniben Undergrad Shot By Unidentified Gunmen In Broad Day Light

This evening, an MDB reader narrated to me a very disturbing incident that occurred at University of Benin today.

According to the eyewitness, the school was put in state of pandemonium by the shooting of one of the students shot at very close range in the head, by unidentified gunmen suspected to be cultists.

It is gathered that the students were having bio-metrics registration in front of the sports complex when from no where, the student also trying to get registered was shot in broad day light, by unidentified assailants in front of everyone.

The student, yet to be identified by name, is said to be an engineering student. As at the time of this report, he is in intensive care, with doctors battling to save his life.
Starting with the brutal murder of fast rising singer

Damoche in February, MDB has reported more than 6 cases of cult related killings, in different areas of the country, particularly Lagos state.

With cultism spreading it's evil tentacles outside campuses these days, one is left to wonder if there will ever be a time when our society will be rid of this menace.
Pray to God he survives.
