A bar tender was yesterday rescued by police from a group of irate residents baying for her blood in Kiambu after she spent a night with a 13 year old boy.
The mother of two from Thigio village invited the 13 year old boy to her house in the village at about 11 p.m. The boy obliged and he spent the whole of Thursday night at the woman’s bedroom.
In the morning, the woman’s youngest son realized there was a stranger at his mother’s bed and informed his brother who together reported the incident to the area chief. The chief accompanied by some elders stormed the house and caught the two in a compromising position - the naked boy lying on the woman’s bed.
The woman was accosted by angry residents who had been tipped via the grapevine but fortunately administration police officers came to her rescued at the nick of time.
She is now being held in a Police Station in Kiambu waiting to be arraigned in court on Monday for charges of defiling a minor.
