Police are holding a 29 year old man who stabbed his ex girlfriend to death in Mwala on Christmas day after a fight with his estranged girlfriend after she refused to accompany him to a disco.
Kennedy Musyoka, a casual worker at a hotel in Mwala town is said to have gone to his girlfriend’s home and demanded to go out with her but she refused and this triggered a fight.
The girl who works as a barmaid in the area is said to have ended the relationship between the two of them a month ago after she realized that Musyoka was cheating on her.
According to neighbors Musyoka used a kitchen knife to stab the girl and took off after realizing that she had died. Police in the area were however alerted and caught up with him as he tried boarding a matatu to escape
