THE BIGGEST OF THEM ALL:The Glitz And Glam From The 85th Oscar Awards(look)

Monochrome Reign: Chalize Theron and Adele are trendsetting opposites at the 2013 Oscars

Since the beginning of awards season late last year, I have brought you all the best pictures from the red carpet, and with the Oscars, it ends with a BANG.

A very loud bang at that, because all the A-List actresses brought their A game to the red carpet...I mean, the dresses were exquisite.

Until Charlize Theron arrived, I had a difficult time making up my mind who my best dressed was. Most of the stars looked well put together and appropriately dressed for awards season's biggest night. My fashion expectations were no doubt surpassed.

I chose Charlize Theron as my best dressed for the night because she looked elegant, amazingly statuesque, and her entire look was well thought out. She pulled off short hair (which is difficult to pull off at such an event) -effortlessly.

Her white Dior Couture dress looked immaculate as she carried it with her 5ft 11" frame. Her jewels were just right, and make-up perfect. Pictures really do NOT do her look justice, it was simply breathtaking.

Jessica Chastain also exuded true class in her beautifully fit Armani Prive gown. 75 year old Jane Fonda showed the younger generation what true Hollywood glamour is made of in her yellow Versace custom made dress.

Catherine Zeta Jones, Olivia Munn, Halle Berry, Jenifer Garner, Naomi Watts,Salma Hayek and -last but certainly not the least-ADELE all looked beautiful. I do not have any worst dressed for the 2013 Oscars.

On the other hand, the men were disappointing. Most were dressed in their usual neutral colored Tuxedos, opting to keep it safe.

The Academy awards took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. See all the pictures when you continue. Happy viewing.
