A car bomb seriously injured two people this night in Bauchi city.
The bomb apparently timed in a parked car exploded at about 8:30 PM local time in the Ilela area of the city close to the Bauchi local government area secretariat and Garu Bank.
Eyewitnesses told SaharaReporters that shop owners in the area hurriedly closed their shops and fled as Nigerian troops took over the area mounting checkpoints
