Recently, word filtered out that the Olugbo of
Ugbo Kingdom in Ondo state and chairman of Obat Oil, Oba Fredrick Obateru
Akinruntan, made history as the first black person to buy the 2014 model of
Bentley.
The red Bently, which arrived in Nigeria a few
weeks back, was specially customized for the oil tycoon and has the plate number
"OLUGBO".
An MDB reader sent me
pictures of the car which elicited envious stares at Governor Mimiko's
