Federal Government Declares 2 Days As Public Holiday To Mark Easter

Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1, 2013, have been declared as public holidays by the Federal Government to mark the celebration of Good Friday and Easter Monday respectively.

Making the declaration on behalf of the government, Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro, congratulated all Christians on the occasion and enjoined them to remain committed to the exemplary attributes of love, tolerance and peaceful co-existence which Jesus Christ exhibited during his time on earth.
