4 Kids Drown In Kaduna

Four children from the same family were reportedly drowned at the weekend while trying to cross Romi River in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The boys, between the ages of 6 and 17, were on their way to the farm when the incident happened.

The search for the bodies of the deceased yesterday led to the discovery of the corpse of a six-year-old boy which was later deposited at the St. Gerald Hospital in Kakuri.

A family member, Rita Gabriel, identified the deceased as Gimba, Bossan, Zichat, and Ibro, all children of Mr. Doka Abet Daji.

When contacted, the Kaduna State Police Commissioner, Olufemi Adenaike, confirmed the incident and said that he has sent his men to the scene to take part in search of the corpses.
