Oyo NSCDC Retrieves Corpse From Storage Well
The Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has recovered the corpse of a suspected vandal from a petrol storage well at Amosun Village in Akinyele Local Government Area of the state.

The NSCDC State Commandant, Mr Clement Adesuyi, disclosed this in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ibadan on Friday.

Adesuyi said that the evacuation of the body was carried out in callaboration with officers of the State Fire Service.

He said that the body was yet to be identified, adding that it was retrieved after an earlier raid and seal-off exercise on Monday.

The commandant said that other items retrieved from the site included a dane gun, seven kegs of jerry cans, a pair of sandals, one energy head lamp, two pairs of dresses and a funnel.

Adesuyi, who directed officers of the corps to embark on constant surveillance of the area, urged residents to report any suspicious activity.

He stated further that the command would not relent in its efforts at curbing vandalism in the state. Adesuyi urged the media to partner with NSCDC to rid the state of criminals.
