Uhuru Kenyatta Is Kenya's 4th President Elect

Uhuru Kenyatta , Kenya's deputy prime minister, has won the country's presidential election with 50.07 percent of the vote, official results show, just enough to avoid a runoff.

He was today declared the 4th president of Kenya by the country's Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission and will assume office later this month.
